Welcome
to the Home-Educate Site
You CAN do it
It is your legal RIGHT
You do NOT need special qualifications
You do NOT need to do 'school' at home
There IS support out there
You do NOT need permission from your school or LEA*
*Exceptions do exist |
If you decide to Home Educate your child and
they are not yet of statutory school age you do not need to inform your
LEA of your intention to H.E.
Home Education is not the preserve of educational
revolutionaries, neither is it only an option for the middle classes or
those who can afford tutors. There are many reasons why people choose to
Home Educate, many choose to from before the child reaches statutory
school age and see home education as a continuation of the natural
learning process. See more

Our experience is of home educating in England

Please join our "folding@home"
team. Folding at home is a distributed computing project run by Stanford
University, it makes use of your PCs idle time to carry out a
complicated medical research programme that would otherwise require a
large supercomputer. Our team ID is 13997.
