In Education |
C in E is an independent monthly magazine for home educators which rivals any in Britain. The magazine takes on hard hitting issues in HE such as, in July 2002,
criticisms of 'autonomous' education. C in E also has a monthly page about HE in other European countries and further a field. It has helped form the new organisation Learning Unlimited - a support group for HE'ers over Europe.
It costs £10 for 12 issues which is great value!
C in E is also a website for HE . C in E pioneered the truancy information cards and the Elective Legal
Guidelines for HE'ers. It has an extensive local listing in print and on the web.

Education
Otherwise |
There has been some confusion over Education
Otherwise, some LEAs use the term in correspondence when talking about Sec7
of the education act. You do not need to become a member to home educate
but many find their advice useful.
